Pateras [instable boats used to cross the Mediterranean] 1 and 2

This work was done for the International Symposium Liquid Borders (18-20.03.21), International Research Event, Creation and Innovation of the National University of Colombia in Bogota. We start with (the idea of) “patera” [an instable boat used to cross the Mediterranean] to compose a performative sound narrative, using archival material, citations, interviews, howls, prayers and various forms of sound. Divided into several movements affected by tides, currents and waves this narrative is a drift where we propose to experiment, if possible in a renewed and radical way, with our emotions and active listening.
