Sensitive Zone unfolds as a barely perceptible visual murmur, a spectral presence that runs around the perimeter of the exhibition space in the form of transparent vinyl text. This work is not presented in an effective, unitary manner, but rather reveals itself in its movement through the room and the incidence of light, proposing a situation of encounter or search, of partial reading and active imagination. The textual intervention, which in certain areas remains hidden behind other works, transforms the tour into a personal and fragmentary experience, where each visitor can compose their own narrative.
The text, which refers to the impossibility of presenting a material work and is part of a chain of conceptual reworkings with the curator, embodies contingency as both form and content. It is a work without a definitive authorship, without a fixed object, which delegates its existence to the gaze of the other and is inscribed within the logic of art as a process. Heir to the conceptual developments in art since the 1960s, this "sensitive zone" subverts the notion of the work as a full presence, instead focusing on the activation of space as content and the viewer as a tool of precision. The result is a piece that is not seen, but rather intuited, imagined, and, above all, activated.
