RIVER THAT MAKES WAY, GENTRIFIED SHEEPFOLD _19/06/2023
Pick up a stone at the source of the Júcar River (Tragacete, Cuenca) and prop up a sheepfold in Los Callejones (Las Majadas, Cuenca)
Método Móvil de Campo Adentro. VI Culture and Ruralities Forum, Spanish Ministry of Culture.

Starting from the idea of movement, we traveled along three routes of human, animal, and mineral action. The first was the natural channel formed by the current of the Júcar River. And following this, the Cañada Real Cuenca, traditionally used by transhumant grazing herders, reached Los Callejones de Las Majadas. Shelters were built here to shelter livestock, utilizing the rock formations, which can be visited by following a tourist trail through Los Callejones. With the group, we explored these three transit routes, which are intertwined and tense due to their nature, labor, and tourism.
